Alexander Volkanovski is ready to go the extra mile if necessary against Brian Ortega.

Volkanovski, who puts his title on the line against Ortega in the main event of UFC 266, is coming in with a different kind of fire. The reigning featherweight champion is ready to silence all critics when he takes on dangerous finisher Ortega and is aiming for an emphatic performance on Sept. 25.

Just a month out from his highly anticipated matchup with Ortega, Volkanovski is closing out his training camp with a bang. The champion posted a video of the final seconds of one of his training sessions, where he’s prepared to show that he can outlast the durable Ortega if the fight makes it to the championship rounds.

“5 months ago we put all the work in, ready for war…we going bigger and better this time!! #ufc266 #andstill”

Volkanovski just spent weeks filming Season 29 of “The Ultimate Fighter” and things have gotten heated with Ortega. Coming off a close decision win over Max Holloway, Volkanovski wants to keep the judges out of the equation against Ortega.
