One of the biggest storylines of UFC 267 was the much-anticipated return of Khamzat Chimaev.
And, man, did he deliver.
Chimaev, competing in his first fight in 13 months after a rough bout with COVID-19, steamrolled Li Jingliang to win by first-round technical submission this past Saturday in Abu Dhabi. In four UFC fights (all wins), Chimaev has absorbed only one significant strike.
After his latest win, Chimaev made it clear that he wants to fight none other than Nate Diaz, who is on the last fight of his UFC contract. And the thing is, UFC president Dana White has said he is “100 percent” interested in making that fight happen.

So, is Diaz vs. Chimaev the fight to make, or is there something better, that makes more sense, for Chimaev next? Our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Nolan King, Matthew Wells and Brian “Goze” Garcia answer that question with host John Morgan.
