The stakes don’t get any higher this Friday inside the Bellator cage.
On Friday’s main event, Sergio Pettis will enter as Bellator bantamweight champion seeking to record his first title defense. On the other side of the cage will be Kyoji Horiguchi, the man who previously held the same belt and actually never lost it inside the cage.
Between Pettis looking to establish himself as the king of the division by beating the man that some feel is the “true” champion, and Horiguchi out to prove the belt belongs to him, who has more to lose in this situation?
