LAS VEGAS – The women’s flyweight title fight between Valentina Shevchenko and Lauren Murphy at UFC 266 is locked in.

Dominant titleholder Shevchenko (21-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) and streaking challenger Murphy (15-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) both successfully made weight Friday at the official weigh-ins.

Shevchenko looked sharp as usual, hitting the scale at 124 pounds. Murphy also hit the championship limit at 125 pounds.

The fight will mark Shevchenko’s sixth attempted title defense after winning the belt in December 2018. Former Invicta FC champion Murphy will try to unseat her with an all-time upset.

Shevchenko and Murphy are scheduled for a final staredown Friday at the UFC 266 ceremonial weigh-ins. Then they’ll battle for the belt Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

UFC 266’s main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPNews and ESPN+.
