Darren Till’s rough stretch continued in the UFC Fight Night 191 main event with a submission loss to Derek Brunson.

Till (18-4-1 MMA, 6-4-1 UFC) had no answers for the wrestling of Brunson (23-7 MMA, 14-5 UFC) in the fight. He couldn’t stop the shots or get out from bottom position, and it led to him getting tapped out with a rear-naked choke in the third round of Saturday’s middleweight headliner at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

The Brit fell to 1-4 in his past five fights with the defeat, and though he’s been facing elite-level competition, it’s still tough times for one of the promotion’s most popular fighters.
