UFC 264 results: Irene Aldana batters Yana Kunitskaya in first-round TKO stoppage
Mexico’s Aldana (13-6 MMA, 6-4 UFC) is coming off a dominant TKO win over Yana Kunitskaya back in July at UFC 264. The 33-year-old has won six of her past eight fights and is looking to earn her first title shot in the UFC.
On the other hand, Ladd is looking to get back in the win column following a loss to Norma Dumont in October. It was a featherweight bout. Ladd is 1-2 in her past three performances as she’s continued to experience weight-cutting issues.
Ladd had been looking to fight former champion Miesha Tate, who quickly shot down the idea.
